St. Augustine Religious Education Program
2011-2012

A successful teaching program depends on the cooperation and the assistance of the parents. This CCD Program is not a substitute for parental direction and religious education, but rather a supplement to it.

Our program from K through grade-ten gradually builds a foundation for living the Christian life. No grade level should be missed. Our preparation for First Communion is a two-year program of first and second grades.

Likewise, the preparation for Confirmation covers two years, grades nine and ten. Regular attendance during both years in both programs is mandatory. The attendance record of each student is reviewed to determine readiness of the student to receive the sacraments.
